Messi then scored again in the second half to draw level with Raul as he slid home from close range after playing a one-two with Pedro.

The 27-year-old has now netted 71 times in 90 games for Barcelona in the Champions League, while Ronaldo has scored his 70 in 106 matches. Raul needed 142 appearances to reach 71 strikes
