Availability actually depends on where you live. At seems at the moment that the 32GB Nexus 5 is the easiest one to get hold of in the U.S. — it’s available now in all colors — while in the U.K., it’s only the 16GB model that’s shipping within 1-2 business days. If the model you want isn’t available now, it should be soon.
This all but confirms the Nexus 5 is going nowhere for the time being. Google traditionally discontinues older devices when they get a refresh, but with the new Nexus 6 nowhere near as affordable as its predecessors — and substantially bigger — it seems the Nexus 5 will continue to be offered as a smaller, more affordable option.
The Nexus 5 has also been included in a lot of Android 5.0 Lollipop promotional material in recent weeks, indicating it would remain in Google’s hardware lineup for the foreseeable future.
Don’t think you’ll get them any cheaper now that the Nexus 6 is confirmed, however; the 16GB Nexus 5 is still priced at $349, and the 32GB model is still $399.
