Entries are welcomed from now till October 31, 2014 in the following categories: Agriculture and Agribusiness, Environment, Energy and Water, Health and Wellbeing, ICT applications, and Manufacturing and Services Industries.
And all submissions would be judged based on originality, marketability, scalability, social impact and scientific/technical aspects.
The IPA competition, in its fourth edition, has being encouraging Africans for creative ideas as well as techniques that would tackle some of the challenges facing Africa while also supporting sustainable development.
AIF founder, Jean-Claude affirmed that the platform encourages and harness entrepreneurial skills towards improving the lives of Africans and help realise untapped potentials.
The best innovation gets a grand prize of USD 100,000 while the innovation with the best commercial and business potential gets the second prize of USD 25,000.
