In several days, the streets of Philly will be roaring with some of the top performers at the Under 30 music festival. Top hip-hop artist Wiz Khalifa, renowned DJ Afrojack, indie rocker LP and Philadelphia’s own OCD: Moosh and Twist will take over the Piazza at Schmidt’s on Sunday, Oct. 19 for a concert that will kick off the first -ever Forbes Under 30 Summit.
The show, presented by Global Citizen Nights, is part of the Forbes Under 30 Summit and totally accessible to the public via free tickets. The catch? You must take action and do something good.
Global Citizen is giving away 2,500 pairs of passes to the event. To enter the contest for a chance at free tickets, participants must complete one of the four actions designated by Global Citizen:
- Tweet at Senator Patrick Leahy, Senator Lindsey Graham, Congresswoman Kay Granger and Congresswoman Nita Lowey and thank them for working to ensure every child across the world has access to protection from diseases.
- Sign the petition to support the Water for the World Act — legislation that refines and improves the current Senator Paul Simon Water for the Poor Act that makes safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene a U.S. foreign policy priority. The Water for the World Act would better utilize the existing funds and strengthen accountability for existing programs.
- Sign the petition encouraging world leaders to help end the Ebola epidemic.
- Tweet a selfie with the hashtag #showyourself, joining the petition that shows world leaders that the rights and needs of the 1.8 billion young people across the globe must be priority.
